Music Magazine Title Blocks

'SMASH HITS' the genre of the magazine is 'pop' and the font and style of text matches it. It is written in a rounded slightly slanlted font with some of the letters are connected together. I believe that this is a good connect to the magazine and its contents. The mucis featuerd in this magazine is is a mix of everything popular and current at the time. So the connected together and the wrighting rounded off, is telling me that the magazine is an all rounded one and is covering every music gerne that it can and needs to. The rounded edges of the font and the soft subtle. but also eye catching colours and genrally aimed at the younger audience. This also reflects the language and the content both on and inside the magazine. The words 'Smash Hits' tell me that this particual magazine is going to be about the current hits around the time of the magazine and that they are the most current and have the best responce from the genral pulic as the viewing audience.

The title block on the magazine is big, bold and bright in colour. Although they colour of the font changes it is also and contrasting on to the background, so it isn't fading in the the background. The font used is very simple but it effective because it is seen and recognised. The title block its self dosent give away the genre of the magazine, but it tells us as the audience that the music content in the magazine is about the 'VIBE' that is around the music circite and the mintue.

The title is a single letter. It is white on a bold red backgroud. the 'Q' dosen't give anything away about the genre of the music in the maazine or anything about the magazine. This dose stick in your mind because it is a bold and promintante image on the magazine and in your head. The type of audience I would say this magazine is aiumed for from the title is an lder one. I think this because of the text font the letter is written in, although it is simple, the font is or simlar to 'Time New Roman', even the name of the font sujests old and quite boring, which will not draw in kids or a younger audience, as if it was written in a bolder block letter font, which would look more current and modern to the time. It dosent give away the genre but I think that the content isn't for the younger audience and the music that is most popular at the current time, although it still has current music features or the specific genre of music.
